Welcome PreK - 2nd Grade Teachers!  Thank you for joining us today.  

The goal of this session is to explore making instruction more engaging and effective using the technology tools that are already available in most schools.

During the next two hours, we’re going to focus on the following:

• First, we will provide a brief overview of how several technology tools support guided reading groups in the classroom. (Approximately 40 minutes)  

• Take a break (Approximately 10 minutes)

• Second, please form teams of two or three. Please consider working with a teacher from another school (approximately 1 hour 10 minutes):

• Teacher teams will collaborate on activities to apply guided reading group strategies to the classroom.  -OR-

• Teacher teams will collaborate on building engaging activities for students that align with the CCSS and ADNY Unit 4
